I am a figurative sculptor who works in a traditional style. I enjoy all portraiture, of both people and animals, in particular life size portraits.

A keen interest of mine is the conservation of the Galapagos which I learnt about through my research for the Darwin statue commission Darwin and the Galapagos

Elgar has also been a major focus for me. I listened to Elgar’s music and was inspired by it whilst sculpting both of his portraits Elgar

It seems appropriate that a portrait of Gladstone, a Liberal and one of the greatest British Prime Ministers unveiled shortly after the Liberal Democrats returned to power in the coalition government Gladstone
